Welcome!

Hi! I am Yulei Wang.

My career is dedicated to understanding complex, multi-scale, high-energy processes in plasma systems through large-scale, high-precision numerical simulations. My research topics cover magnetic reconnection during solar eruptions, relativistic dynamics of charged particles in fusion devices, construction of advanced geometric algorithms, and development of scientific computing software for supercomputers.

Currently, I am working on the cutting-edge problem of 3D turbulent magnetic reconnection, analyzing its theoretical nature, and studying its role in solar eruptions to explain the multi-band fine observations from high-resolution space- and ground-based solar telescopes. I am also interested in exploring the connections between turbulent magnetic reconnection in the solar atmosphere and interplanetary fine plasma processes, including the fine structures in the solar wind and particle acceleration in the shocks driven by solar eruptions. I also contribute to Chinaโ€™s future deep-space solar observation missions.
